The 77th annual Cannes Film Festival is well underway and the best in film—directors, producers and actors—have gathered to promote and celebrate their hard work. And, of course, these A-listers are doing it in glimmering style.
While we have to give a special mention to Hollywood legend Meryl Streep and her coveted Palme d’Or award, the festival’s highest honour, crafted from a massive rock crystal base and adorned with a yellow gold palm leaf featuring a heart-shaped stem by Chopard, we will be highlighting the finest jewellery creations that were worn on the red carpet.

Speaking of Hollywood legends—Demi Moore has been stunning the world since her debut and the actress did the same at the Chopard Trophée Awards ceremony in a turquoise sequin Balenciaga gown paired with a vibrant paraiba tourmaline necklace from the maison’s Haute Joaillerie collection.
Araya A. Hargate in Boucheron
This Thai beauty never fails to impress. The model and actress stepped onto the red carpet in vintage Balmain couture with equally opulent jewels from Boucheron’s Hiver Impérial High Jewelry collection. The Flocon Impérial necklace and pendant earrings set features a 5.20-carat cushion-cut diamond as the centrepiece set with rock crystal and paved diamonds on white gold.

The Mad Max saga star brought the glamour with a minimalistic but exceptionally brilliant assortment of diamond jewellery from Tiffany & Co. Of course, the pièce de résistance was the curvaceous platinum and diamond necklace from the house’s Blue Book 2022 Botanica collection.
Margaret Qualley in Chanel
This actress and brand ambassador for Chanel wore a Comète high jewellery necklace as a headpiece, much like Michelle Willams did at the recent Met Gala 2024, who also wore pieces from the Maison. She also styled the starry piece with earrings from last year’s Tweed de Chanel high jewellery collection featuring diamonds and pearls.

One word: spectacular. The Chinese actress made her red carpet appearance in a glittering dress that was accentuated by hundreds of diamonds across the entire suit of Cartier jewellery. Gong Li sure knows how to make a statement, from the art deco Arabesque necklace and bracelet to the edgy Clash Unlimited ring and Panthère Pompom earrings with emeralds, rocking each piece with ease.

As a friend of the Maison, entrepreneur and internet personality Yara Alnamah donned the Blé necklace in yellow gold, platinum and diamonds from last year’s Le Jardin de Chaumet collection and Déferlante earrings from the Ondes et Merveilles High Jewellery collection.

Simple, chic and elegant—Jane Fonda served sophistication on the red carpet with an asymmetric choker rose gold necklace with 2,924 white diamonds with matching earrings and a ring from the Maison’s upcoming high jewellery collection that will debut in June.
